I-20 Eastbound and Westbound Lanes in Jefferson County
Weather permitting, on Monday, February 11, beginning at 9 a.m., Norfolk Southern Railroad will be repairing their tracks over I-20, between the US 78 Interchange (exit 140) and the Dawson Street overpass, in Leeds as follows:

This work will require the I-20 eastbound inside (left) lane and shoulder and the I-20 westbound inside (left) lane and shoulder to be closed at the Railroad Overpass, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The remaining two lanes in each direction of travel will remain open to traffic during this operation.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Maintenance Operation.
