I-65 Northbound and Southbound Lanes in Jefferson County
On Sunday, January 20, from 8pm to 5am, Planned Guardrail Repairs on Outside Shoulders & in the Median of I-65 from the Shelby County Line (MP 248.0) to the Blount County Line (MP 283.8)
Details:
ALDOT will begin repairs to the guardrail located on the northbound and southbound outside (right) travel lane & shoulders of I-65 from the Shelby County Line (milepost 248.0) in Hoover to the Blount County Line (milepost 283.8) in Warrior.Work will require the outside (right) travel lane & shoulder to be closed in the area where guardrail repairs are being made.
Upon completion of all guardrail repairs on the outside shoulders, the repairs will move to the inside (left) median shoulders, in both the NB and SB directions, which will require the inside (left) travel lane and shoulder to be closed in areas where the guardrail is being repaired in the median.Work will continue Sunday thru Thursday & may require intermittent lane closures for up to 4 weeks.
