SR 149 Northbound and Southbound Lanes in Jefferson County
The planned moving operation to resurface a segment of State Route 149 (Greensprings Highway) thru the intersection of Valley Avenue has been postponed until Monday, February 4 at 9 a.m.
Details:
•The First phase of work will include milling off the existing wearing layer and resurfacing with new asphalt pavement and placing temporary traffic striping and markings.
•The Second phase of work will include placing the final wearing layer of asphalt, new traffic signal detector loops and placing permanent traffic striping and raised reflective pavement markers. This work will be completed in two to three weeks, dependent on weather conditions and work progress. All travel lanes will be reopened to traffic by 3:30 p.m. each day
