I-459 Northbound in Jefferson County
ALDOT will install Pavement Markings and Raised Reflective Pavement Markers on I-459 as follows:
•I-459 northbound from the US-31 Interchange (exit 13) to the US-280 Interchange (exit 19)
•In areas where exit ramps diverge from the travel lanes, (gore area), the outside (right) lane will be closed in the area of work. The ramps will remain open to traffic, but will be narrowed to allow adequate space for equipment and personnel to safely perform the work.
