Planned Bridge Joint Repairs on I-65 Bridges at the Cahaba River (MP 248.5) in Hoover continues, Tuesday Night
Details:
On Tuesday, October 9, weather conditions permitting, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., the Alabama Department of Transportation will continue repairing and sealing the bridge joints, located on the I-65 southbound bridge, inside (left) two lanes, at the Cahaba River, Milepost 248.5, in Hoover. This is located between the I-65/I-459 Interchange (Exit 250) and the Valleydale Road Interchange (Exit 247). This work will require the I-65 southbound inside two (left) travel lanes and shoulder to be closed in the area of the repairs.
This work will require intermittent lane closures for approximately two months, dependent on weather conditions and work progress.
