Weather permitting, Sunday, May 19, at the Hollywood Boulevard Overpass in Mountain Brook and through Hugh Daniel Drive (milepost 1 through milepost 9) in the eastbound and westbound lanes
Tuesday, May 21, weather conditions permitting, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., on I-459 from the I-65 Interchange (exit 15) in Hoover to the US 11 Interchange (exit 32) in Trussville
Sunday, May 19 at 7 p.m. until Monday May 20 at 6 a.m., the northbound outside lane of I-459 from south of the US 280 Interchange (milepost 20.0) to the Grants Mill Road Interchange (milepost 27.0) will be closed to perform paving operations at this location. Also, beginning Sunday night, May 19 at 10 p.m. until Monday, May 20 at 6 a.m. the adjacent outside lane will be closed at the same location. The same procedure will be followed the following four nights.

Weather permitting, ALDOT announces at various times the NB& SB inside and outside lanes of State Road 75 from Huffman Road to South of Fox Hill Drive in the City of Birmingham in Jefferson County will be closed to perform installation of traffic signal loops and permanent traffic stripes
Weather permitting, on Wednesday, May 15 at 9:30 a.m., the Alabama Department of Transportation will conduct a bridge inspection of the I-459 northbound bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad line at milepost 32.527. These bridges are located at the US-11 Interchange (exit 32) in Trussville.
Weather permitting, on Tuesday, May 14 at 9:30 a.m., the Alabama Department of Transportation will conduct a bridge inspection of the I-459 bridges over the Norfolk Southern Railroad line at milepost 30.225. This bridge is located between the I-20 Interchange (exit 29) and the Derby Parkway Interchange (exit 31).
Planned Lane Closures on I-459 SB to Perform Asphalt Paving, in Jefferson County
Beginning Monday, April 8 at midnight, weather permitting Phase II of the project will initially close the eastbound lanes of I-20 from exit 130 to exit 136 and is expected to last approximately 90 days. To avoid lengthy travel delays, motorists are encouraged to use the signed local detours: Exiting I-20 East from I-20/I-59 South, take I-59 North to Exit 137 to I-459 South. Take I-459 south to Exit 29 to I-20 East.
